| Interview with Semyon Dukach from Busting Vegas
Here's my interview with Semyon Dukach, the main character in Busting Vegas.
1) What are you doing now, and how can people check out your latest project?
I'm launching an online game at www.gottaflirt.com, where the women will make the rules and the men will have to play by them. It will be fast, interactive, and fun, and a man would have to beat out all the other guys at the woman's own game in order to get a chance to contact her.
2) Was it strange to see your story in print, and how have other members of your team reacted?
It was strange to read about myself in third person. By the end of the book, I thought that the character really captured the essence of my personality. Other team members have had varied reactions: some have loved it, and others were frustrated because they didn't think the book was historically accurate in all cases.
3) Who would you like to see play you in the movie based on the book?
My perfect fantasy actor to play me would be myself, of course.
4) You've played blackjack all over the world. What casino stands out in your memory?
Caesars Palace in Las Vegas brings back a lot of intense memories.
5) What advice would you give a first time visitor to Las Vegas?
Study my DVDs from www.blackjackscience.com well in advance of your trip. And don't drink until you're done playing.
6) Do you still gamble? Do you think it's still possible to win big with the three techniques in Busting Vegas?
I only play briefly when on vacations now. It's definitely still possible to use all three of the techniques described in Busting Vegas. People who watched the Blackjack Science DVDs or took the seminars often write me and brag about their successes.
7) In the book, you come across as a bit angry at the casinos? Do you still feel this way?
Yeah, I still hate the bastards. Doesn't everyone?
8) What do you think of the popularity of internet gambling? Do you think we are creating a generation of gamblers?
Gambling is American to the core. We aren't creating gamblers, just new venues for gambling, some of which involve a lot of skill. People have a better chance learning how to beat Blackjack or Poker then at the lottery or the numbers racket.
